**Which role will you play?**
The Planning Supervisor is responsible for the business planning function within the company. It is responsible for identifying and implementing best practices in the planning of operations and the management of material, human or tooling resources. With his team, he ensures to identify the necessary resources in order to carry out the projects according to the production schedules and the delivery schedules.

**What we will your day to day?**
- Supervise operations planning activities and materials needs analyses;
- Ensure control between operations planning and different resources;
- Plan, update and communicate the overall plan of operations planning;
- Ensure that the best planning management practices are followed and updated;
- Generate, communicate and update performance measurement reports related to the management of planning;
- Coordinate operations and communications with the different sectors in order to meet production schedules and delivery schedules;
- Communicate the planning strategies and the tools in place to achieve the targeted results;
- Create, update and control planning procedures;
- Ensure that policies and process are followed and communicated to team members;
- Determine required labour needs and resource capacity;
- Attend daily meetings with other supervisors;
- Facilitate and monitor the daily department meeting;
- Participate in continuous improvement projects in the sector.
**Your Profile**:
- Bachelor's degree in operations management, industrial engineering or equivalent with a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in operations planning in a manufacturing environment and in management or;
- Graduate degree in operations management, industrial engineering or equivalent with four (4) years of relevant experience in operations planning in a manufacturing environment and in management;
- Knowledge of the aviation sector (asset);
- Knowledge of SAP information system (asset);
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel);
- Bilingual spoken and written;
- Very strong sense of organization and focused on process management.
**Eligibility Criteria**:
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada **“Reliability”** status and **Level 2 (Secret)** security clearance;
- For on-site positions, our location not accessible by public transport, car/carpooling required.
