**Job Overview**
We are seeking a warm, reliable, and engaging Personal Support Worker (PSW) or Caregiver to provide light support and companionship to an individual who is healthy, active, and enjoys participating in daily life. This is a low-intensity care role focused on building rapport, offering friendly reminders, light household support, and meaningful social interaction.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Providing companionship and social engagement
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Compassionate and personable caregiver with a supportive approach
- Experience in caregiving, PSW work, or a related field is an asset
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build genuine rapport
- Reliability and flexibility to meet occasional scheduling needs
- Offering gentle reminders and encouragement throughout the day
- Assisting with light household tidying and lunch preparation
- Supporting participation in day-to-day routines and activities
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or senior care is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques
- Ability to provide respectful support tailored to their needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
- Certification in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
