**Job Summary**

We are a legal firm located in downtown Toronto. We are currently looking for a Mandarin speaking law clerk/paralegal that meets the following criteria:
Requirements for the role include:
1. Diploma in law clerk/paralegal studies from an accredited paralegal program or related experience;
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin;
3. Advanced analytical skills and organizational skills necessary to efficiently prioritize and complete a variety of tasks;
4. Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
5. Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize multiple tasks, and meets deadlines;
6. Excellent telephone manner

**Responsibilities and Duties**

Key Activities:
1. Preparing reports and correspondence, drafting of legal documents;
2. Monitoring the flow of correspondence to ensure proper action is taken in a timely manner;
3. Coordinating scheduling of appointments, meetings, court hearings and associated requirements;
4. Ability to exercise independent judgment in assigned area of responsibility;
5. Knowledge of legal terminology and principles;
6. The ability to review legal documents for accuracy;
7. Ensures complete and accurate filing (hardcopy and electronic) of all legal documents

Salary for this position will be commensurate with experience.
