Service Project Coordinator

In this role, you will work closely with the Lead Coordinator from our Markham Head Office. This position is classified as intermediate skill level with the opportunity to develop into a more advanced role (Lead Coordinator) in the future.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Coordinating for 2-3 project managers inclusive of:

- Handling all documentation requirements associated with the successful execution of Electrical service projects ranging from $50,000 to $500,000
- Tracking the progress of jobs and assisting the project manager in monitoring profitability
- Being a key point of contact with general contractors and suppliers
- Escalate issues to the Project Manager as required
- Creating invoices and comprehensive billing support across electrical service
- Opening work orders, issuing purchase orders to vendors and subcontractors, invoicing and supplying reports to customers as required.
- Proactive/reactive work + problem solving as required, dependent on PM + customer needs.
- Supporting with scheduling and dispatch as required

**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE**:

- At least two (2) years of experience working in a Service Project Coordinator role for a Trades company
- Familiarity with the electrical trades industry is required
- Ability to think critically and execute in a timely manner
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute duties and responsibilities
- Comfortable with conflict resolution and independent problem solving
- Effective written + verbal communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders (customers + colleagues)
- Ability to operate a computer with good general knowledge of Office Suites (Outlook, Word and Excel)
