Located in the South Surrey/White area, Strong Foundations Learning is a child care centre dedicated to providing a safe, healthy and nurturing environment for children aged 6-months to 5-years of age. We deliver a program based in best practice philosophies that focuses on children’s social, emotional and cognitive development.

We are excited to be expanding our program this spring to a new, purpose-built facility Our new centre is bright, spacious, and designed specifically with the needs of children and staff in mind. This expansion means that we need to add to our growing team of early childhood educators.

**Your role**:

- Guidance and caregiving for children ages 6-months to 5-years
- Planning, implementing, and evaluating developmentally appropriate activities to meet the individual and group needs of children in our program
- Ensuring safe, healthy, nurturing environment for children
- Maintaining effective and cooperative team work and communication
- Maintaining positive and supportive relationships with parents and families

**Qualifications**:

- Early Childhood Education Degree or Diploma as recognized by the Province of British Columbia
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Clear Child Abuse Records Check
- Clear Criminal Records Check
- Strong interpersonal skills, both in working with children and communicating with parents
