Are you looking to live the impossible, tell powerful stories and step out of what's comfortable? Paradigm Studios is looking for a Freelance Beat Sheer Creator that will help in creating strong and compelling roadmaps to bring our videos to the next level. This person will have the unique opportunity to outline important moments such as the inciting incident, midpoint, climax, and resolution.

Paradigm Studios is all about bringing videos that promote inspirational/impactful stories that are dripping with drama and leave you with long-lasting valuable life lessons. We do not sugar coat anything, We share the real-world stories of people who are breaking up, making up, and shifting their perspectives to become more positive, self-aware human beings.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

We are looking to amplify our impact and are currently looking for a Freelance Beat Sheet Creator. You will be responsible for creating beat sheets based off of approved curated stories, while adhering to guidelines for production. The challenge is to stay within the constraints of our budget and production schedule (1-day shoot).

Success in this position will be demonstrated by delivering high-quality stories that are original, build tension well and deliver on a cathartic, inspiring ending. Additionally, the overall performance of the video will also be an indicator of success. Metrics such as 7-day minutes viewed, retention and average percentage viewed all factor in when it comes to determining the success of a video.

**What you will be working on**:

- Plan out the key plot points and beats of stories
- Contribute to building the Paradigm universe
- Help produce content aimed to motivate, inspire, and uplift our audience

**What you will bring**:

- Strong understanding of characterization and dialogue, emotional beats and storytelling.
- Have a passion for the genre and a love of the media industry
- Valuable observation skills
- Excellent writing skills in English
- Strong interest in motivational initiatives

**What you will need**:

- Minimum 1-2 years of scriptwriting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or relevant field
- Creativity and Imagination
- Self-discipline and patience
