Job Title: Health Assistant (Chiropractic and Physiotherapy Assistant)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist practitioners in administering treatments such as modalities (ice, ultrasound, low voltage), and guiding patients through strengthening, balance, range of motion, and mobility exercises.
- Communicate effectively with patients and clinic members, both verbally and in writing.
- Manage general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized clinic.
- File and maintain patient records accurately and securely.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar.
- Support the clinic’s daily operations and provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with team members and work independently as needed.
- Utilize computer skills to manage patient information and administrative tasks.
- Problem-solve and address patient or operational issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare or a related field is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
- Customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Competent in computer use and data entry.
- Flexible availability to work 15-20+ hours per week.
