The Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting daily operations and enhancing patient experiences.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As our Assistant Manager, you will support the Office Manager in overseeing clinic operations and enhancing the staff-patient dynamic. Your main responsibilities include:

- **Operations Support**: Assisting in the management of daily clinic operations and ensuring that workflows across various services are efficient and effective.
- **Staff Coordination**: Helping supervise administrative staff and therapists, facilitating seamless communication and scheduling within the team.
- **Patient Relations**: Acting as a friendly point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries, managing appointments, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- **Scheduling & Appointments**: Assisting in managing the scheduling software to coordinate appointments efficiently and optimize clinic resources.
- **Billing & Insurance**: Supporting billing operations, including verifying insurance and managing claims to ensure timely payments and resolve any billing queries.
- **Inventory Management**: Aiding in maintaining adequate inventory levels for all services, ensuring the clinic operates smoothly.
- **Compliance & Safety**: Assisting in monitoring clinic adherence to healthcare regulations and safety standards.
- **Financial Monitoring**: Collaborating with the management team on monitoring budgets and tracking financial performance.
- **Marketing Support**: Contributing to marketing initiatives through patient engagement, social media, and community outreach to enhance clinic visibility.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Prior experience in office management, particularly within a healthcare or chiropractic environment, is essential.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with clinic management software (e.g., Aspire, PMT Patient Management Program, TELUS Insurance Portal). Understanding of motor vehicle insurance and billing procedures is beneficial.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective team collaboration and patient interactions.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong multitasking and organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- **Problem Solving**: Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues as they arise.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities to promote a supportive work atmosphere.
