With its successful experience in the United States, GCI is established to provide Hyundai Glovis' expertise in logistics and synergy in operations to its Canadian counterparts - Hyundai Auto Canada Corp. and KIA Canada Inc. **WE ARE HIRING "Coordinator - Logistics (Bilingual Korean/English)"** **Position Summary** As the Coordinator of the Logistics Team, your primary responsibilities revolve around ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and services worldwide. This entails overseeing documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy, tracking shipment statuses, and resolving any issues that may arise to prevent delays. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers, and carriers to optimize logistics operations and support market expansion initiatives. Analyzing performance metrics and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency will be key to your role. Overall, your role is integral to ensuring smooth logistics operations that support the organization's growth and market competitiveness. **Responsibilities** - Coordinates the transportation of products, providing secure and reliable transportation. - Oversees shipping and delivery schedules for internal fleet and truck transportation of products. - Confirms proper documentation is obtained and maintained. - Updates transportation report, communicates information to appropriate parties, and responds to inquiries regarding report and tracking information. - Confer with customers to provide information about services. - Support activities to expand market share and increase industry relevance. - Transportation Service Billing for customers and vendors (AR/AP). **Education / Certification / License** - HS Diploma / G.E.D is required. - Bachelor's degree is preferred. **Experience** - A minimum of 1 years of experience in logistics operation is preferred. - Extensive experience in the logistics/automotive industry is highly preferred. **Knowledge** - Deep understanding of the logistics industry, including warehousing. **Competencies** - Good written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, customers, vendors, and external stakeholders. - **Proficiency in Korean (both written and spoken) is highly preferred for this role.**: - Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and take initiative to complete tasks proactively. **Our Benefits and Perks (What You Are Offered)** - On-Site Gym and Gym Allowance Benefit: Promotes physical wellness with convenient access to fitness facilities and support for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. - 4-Day In-Office Work Schedule: Enjoy a balanced work-life routine with Fridays as a flexible remote work day. - Meal Allowance Benefit: Provides sustenance and support from day one. - **We thank all applicants for their submissions, but only those who are shortlisted will be contacted.**_ **Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract Additional pay: - Overtime pay **Benefits**: - Company events - Flexible schedule - On-site gym - On-site parking - Work from home Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: - Mississauga, ON L5B 3C3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - logistics: 1 year (preferred) **Language**: - Korean or any other languages (preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON L5B 3C3
