**Full-Time Customer Service Representative**
**Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm**

We are looking for an organized and positive Customer Service Representative who has exceptional customer relation and communication skills to join our team. Our Customer Service Representatives are responsible for maintaining a high level of professional service and customer satisfaction in all interactions including, but not limited to, rate requests, responding to customer inquiries and resolving customer concerns.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Fulfills customer requests for shipment status - tracking and tracing, service standards, problem resolution, proof of delivery (POD) requests and proactive responses and notifications per customer requests, including service schedule variations.
- Addresses customer concerns regarding overages, shortages and damages (OS&D).
- Facilitates claim procedures with customers.
- Provides guidance and information to customers regarding service standards and schedules; clarifying billing information and COD details as requested.
- Collaborates and partners with Operations and Branches to meet customer service requests.
- Updates and maintains customer databases (TMS & Sales Force) with relevant, up-to-date information.
- Completes and communicates fuel surcharge and holiday schedule notifications to customers.
- Proactively communicates customer concerns and issues to the Business Development department.
- Generates sales leads on an on-going basis and forwards to the Business Development department.
- Participates in other related duties and projects as assigned.
**Who You Are**:
- A professional with High School diploma; courses in Customer Service, Business Administration or a related field, with one (1) year experience in customer service; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Proven customer service experience.
- Strong knowledge of LTL freight-handling requirements.
- Experience with a Transportation Management System (TMS) preferred.
- Solid knowledge of the geography of British Columbia.
- Intermediate level use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team; collaborating with others to achieve goals and objectives.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer relations skills; the ability to meet or exceed customer service needs and expectations.
- Positive attitude that communicates job related issues with a constructive, problem solving approach.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, in order to be effective in requesting and delivering information.
- Highly organized with a proven ability to effectively prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, problem solve and be attentive to details.
- Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as required.
