**Job Title**:Gas Technician (G2)

**Location**:Cambridge office with ability to drive to customer sites within 2 hour drive

**Rate**: $27-34/hour

**Main Purpose of the Job**:
Provide service to our customers to install, inspect, repair, service or remove propane equipment in keeping with Ontario Regulation 215/01.

**Reports to**:Service Manager and Branch Manager

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Install, service and remove propane tanks and necessary equipment to supply propane appliances.
- Follow service schedule and time schedules.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate the service vehicle.
- Communicate with customers and management in a professional manner at all times.
- Complete appropriate paperwork.
- Operate assorted equipment in variety of weather and traffic conditions.
- Follow all G2 gas technician license regulations and health and safety standards and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
G2 Certificate as defined in Ontario Regulation 215/01

Must have a valid driver’s license

Basic math skills and reading ability

Communication skills

Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification provided

WHMIS training provided

May require a criminal record check if hired.

Additional qualifications, years of experience and abilities would affect the rate of pay.

Must be available for occasional after-hours, on-call time.

**Working Conditions**:
Must be able to sit, stand, walk on unlevel ground and drive.

Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

Gas Technicians must be able to lift 45 pounds and operate a crane.

Overtime availability required from time to time.
