Survey Cad Technician

**Primary responsibilities**
- Produce survey layout files such as CSV point file, DXF linework and TTM/XML surfaces for the field survey crews
- Receive, organize, and manage a database of raw survey data over various job types.
- Construct and maintain as-built drawings and reline drawing database.
- Compute various volume calculations and other quantity calculations in a timely manner.
- Design and produce drawings for various road, sewer and powerlines projects as needed. (small scale projects)
- Work closely with project managers, supervisors, engineers, surveyors, and clients.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years experience in construction survey drafting or an equivalent role
- AutoCAD Civil 3D software
- Photogrammetry and GIS experience would be considered an asset.
- Previous field survey experience would be considered an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week

- Kenora, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 2 years (required)
- Surveying: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers Licence (preferred)
