**About the job**:
At DNEG, our Animation Supervisors are key creative individuals that bring performance and storytelling to life in our projects while working collaboratively with the Animation team. They are vital to elevating the quality of animation on all our shows and they also take part in helping to lead other technical/organizational aspects of animation production, and as a mentor.

It is their responsibility to interpret and implement the creative vision of the Director and work together with VFX Supervisors within budget.

As an Animation Supervisor, you will oversee a team of talented artists throughout production to establish performance, style, workflows and methodologies in animation, develop the character puppets with support from the Creature team and to deliver high quality animation all the way through to final. You will creatively lead your team throughout the show, ensuring that good and clear communication occurs at all times between the artists and production teams as well as in interactions with technology teams, and other department supervisors. You will contribute to the bidding and crewing for your project.

***Must Have***:
- Previous experience in Animation supervision or in creative leadership positions- Knowledge and experience in storytelling, editing, performance and observation and how this translates to animation- Ability to present creative solutions and ideas to clients and VFX Supervisors- Creative problem solving, and the ability to think on your feet- Thorough understanding of the complete VFX pipeline- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure**About You**:

- Please note that this is a unionized position and will be covered by a collective agreement between DNEG and IATSE, in the coming months. As a unionized employee, you will be required to join the union and will benefit from the conditions set out in the collective agreement. Union dues will be required once the collective agreement is in place._
- The base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 to $170,000. DNEG salary ranges are determined by function, department, level and location. An individual's pay within a given range is determined by their transferrable or job-related skills and work experience. Salary ranges are modified from time to time based on external market data collected through our third-party surveys._
