**Aerial Obstacle Course**:
Our Aerial Obstacle Course is an elevated experience that is fun for all ages. There are 3 different courses ranging from mild to wild - and as our Wilderness Guide, you’ll be leading group as they climb, swing, balance and leap into fun. You will get to experience the thrill of adventure every day, while sharing your love for the outdoors with our guests.
Our mission is to create spectacular experiences. Delivering the best of the outdoors to visitors in a safe, fun and unforgettable locale. Safety is the main priority and is the foundation of all decisions made while guiding. The expectation is that our guides (you) show guests a surreal experience, in a safe environment while positively representing The Adventure Group (TAG) and adapting to the diverse needs of each guest. We collectively create memories for guests and co-workers alike while being safety conscious and enthusiastic.
**A day in the life of our Aerial Obstacle Course Wilderness Guide**:
- Tour prep - knowing who, what, where, why and when. Ensure all equipment has been checked, the course is in good condition and we’re good to go.
- Greet guests arriving at Cougar. We want to get everyone excited and calm any nerves whilst ensuring all necessary safety information is given.
- Start with an off-road adventure; you’ll be driving our 4x4s up the beautiful Rainbow Mountain.
- Safety comes first - further equipment checks to ensure we have everything in place to ensure the safety of our guests and staff at all time.
- Ascend into the trees and begin your way around the course. You’ll be helping guests clip in and out of different physical tests, calming any nerves and watching smiles grow.
- Ensure good communication with your teammates and keep in contact with basecamp throughout the tour.
- Back to base - you’ll be gearing up again to run 2-3 tours per day depending on the season
- Teamwork makes the dreamwork so you’ll work with the rest of our guides to keep basecamp clean, tidy and organized.
- End the day with a sense of accomplishment, knowing you've helped our guests conquer their fears and create memories that they'll never forget.
