Lambert Nemec Group, Winnipeg's leader in Permanent Accounting & Finance Recruitment, has partnered with our client in the construction industry located in Winnipeg to recruit an Accounting Analyst for a 1 year contract role. The successful Accounting Analyst will be reporting to the Accounting Supervisor and should be intrinsically motivated and a hard worker who appreciates work autonomy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare routine cash journal entries.
- Prepare depreciation and amortization entries.
- Assist in the preparation of daily cash.
- Help with bank reconciliations.
- Compile supporting documents for various monthly and quarter-end deliverables.
- Assist with system compliance testing.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- 1+ years minimum of relevant experience in accounting
- A degree or diploma in accounting or business administration
- Experience with computerized accounting programs e.g. AccPac, Dynamics-Great Plains, SAP, QuickBooks, Sage and other ERP Systems
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills, amazing communication and people skills and must be highly organized.
