We are currently recruiting for a **Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician **to join the team in the **Edmonton, AB shop**

**This position based out of the Edmonton shop, with travel to surrounding areas as needed.**

Work with a wide range of equipment and specialty tools. The Automotive and Heavy Equipment Technicians are responsible for performing inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance.

**AS AN EQUIPMENT MECHANIC, YOU WILL**:

- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and specialty tools
- Generators
- Light Plants
- Zoom Booms
- Deck Finishers
- Aerial Lifts
- Skid Steers
- Dozers
- Excavators
- Mobile Cranes
- Tower Cranes
- Fleet Vehicles
- Service Trucks

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- High School Diploma or GED required, along with some trade school or equivalent training
- Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) - Off Road Journeyperson/ Heavy Duty Mechanic (HDM) Journeyperson
- Have at least 3 years of experience with maintenance and repair of support equipment
- Hold a valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Have extensive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Have excellent written communication skills to complete daily service reports
