This is a full-time, permanent, salaried role at New School Foods. This role is benefits eligible.

**As a Facility Maintenance Associate, you will**:

- Maintain a clean and organized production space, including offices, common areas, and laboratory facilities.
- Support production and research teams with cleaning tasks, such as washing dishes, sanitizing equipment, and tidying work areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility and small equipment, documenting findings and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Assist in setting up small equipment for production activities, following established protocols and procedures.
- Ensure adequate stock of cleaning supplies and materials, replenishing as necessary to support ongoing operations.
- Adhere to and enforce cleanliness practices outlined by company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance cleanliness and efficiency.

**You will bring**:

- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies used in office, facility, and laboratory settings.
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and move small equipment weighing up to 20 lbs safely.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing cleanliness issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
