Installer - Kitchen and Closets

The Installer is responsible for installing the DYMON closet and kitchen solutions according to specifications. Responsibilities include in-home kitchen & closet installation for all areas of the home. The Installer, Kitchen & Closet Solutions works with Guests to assemble, prepare and install the closet or kitchen solution in conjunction with the Designer, Kitchen & Closet Solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Visits Guest homes to install closet or kitchen solutions ensuring that the installation experience is consistent with DYMON standards for all Guest interactions.
- Uses design software to verify the closet or kitchen solution, interpret plans, drawings and specifications.
- Undertakes quality assurance inspections of materials before and after assembly.
- Develops and implements creative solutions as required to facilitate installations.
- Maintains an orderly work area at all times and cleans up thoroughly when the installation is completed.
- Follows all safety procedures.
- Nurtures successful relationships with our Guests to build a client referral base.
- Attends trade shows and promotional events to promote DYMON closet or kitchen solutions.

- Implement best practices for closet and kitchen installations and continuously seek opportunities to improve the process.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Minimum High school Diploma.
- College level training in skilled trades such as cabinetry, joinery or woodworking is considered an asset.
- Superior customer service skills
- Understands and appreciates the importance of cultivating relationships and generating referral for new business.
- Competent in the use of woodworking equipment and power tools to fabricate components.
- Ability to read and interpret closet or kitchen designs and specifications. Training will be provided on closet or kitchen design software.
- Must be able to handle high value and high quality products with care.
- Minimum 2 years experience in closet or kitchen installation, cabinet installation and/or finish carpentry

**Physical Demands**:

- This role requires a high level of physical mobility and a valid Drivers License as the Installer, Kitchen & Closet Solutions is required to visit Guest homes to complete installations.
- The Installer, Kitchen & Closet Solutions is required to maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance in accordance with the company policy. DYMON provides uniforms and name tags to be worn, while on duty. Care and maintenance of uniforms is the responsibility of the employee.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs repeatedly and on a regular basis.

**Experience**:

- Woodworking: 1 year (preferred)
- Kitchen/Closet Installation: 2 years (preferred)
- Cabinet Installation: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- G Drivers License (preferred)
