Job Description

We're looking for a motivated individual to join our Rhino Kitchen Wraps team in Ottawa

Specializing in transforming kitchens by wrapping cabinets and surfaces with premium vinyl, we offer clients a modern, fast, and affordable solution that avoids the high costs of a full renovation.

The position starts as part-time, with the possibility of moving to full-time based on performance.

Previous experience in vinyl application (automotive or kitchen) is required.

Additional training on our specific methods will be provided.

Salary

  • Compensation is based on a percentage of completed projects.
  • Average equivalent: $40–$45/hour, with potential to earn more depending on your speed, efficiency, and quality of work.
  • Opportunities to increase your income as performance and project volume grow.

Main Responsibilities

  • Take accurate measurements and cut vinyl according to required dimensions.
  • Prepare surfaces (cleaning, sanding, priming if needed) to ensure optimal adhesion.
  • Apply vinyl to doors, cabinets, drawers, islands, and other kitchen surfaces carefully and precisely, avoiding bubbles, wrinkles, and defects.
  • Use specialized tools provided to work around corners, edges, and curves.
  • Inspect final installation quality, correct imperfections, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace, meeting agreed deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
  • Good manual skills and dexterity for precise work.
  • Ability to problem-solve and adapt to the unique aspects of each project.
  • Solid communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle (required).
  • Fluency in French; English is an asset.
