Early Childhood Educator (P/T)

For immediate start

St. Mary’s out of school care is in need of an enthusiastic and dedicated Certified Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our team. Our daycare and out of school care programs operate through the year in a bright, clean and well-maintained space. This includes full access to the school facilities, including 2 gyms and 3 outside playgrounds, catering to ages 5 - 11. Our program staff encourage and facilitate children’s participation in planned activities, providing guidance and instruction while monitoring individual and group behaviour to ensure a safe, nurturing, creative environment. This is a part-time opportunity with flexible hours Monday to Friday, as required by program registration and needs.

Commitment to Catholic education

Identification with and participation within a Catholic parish community (preferred)

Training specific to the role (ECE/ECEA/Responsible Adult preferred) with proven experience

Flexible schedule Monday to Friday, including days school is closed

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential matters
