Early Childhood Educator/Assistant

TEMPORARY Maternity Leave Position: Full Time

In this role, you will:

  • Work with a range of ages, primarily focused within our infant toddler and/or preschool aged child care programs.
  • Provide active, engaged supervision, count in ratio, and assist in planned experiences/activities.
  • Assist in cleaning, sanitizing, and facility maintenance as needed and directed.
  • Establish positive relationships with children, families, and co-workers.

What we're looking for:

  • Valid license to practice as an Early Childhood Educator (IT/SN certifications will also be considered) OR Early Childhood Educator Assistant.
  • Current Childcare Emergency First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain at own cost.
  • Adaptability, positivity, flexibility and the energy to thrive in a growing, fast-paced organization.
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (min. two doses of an approved vaccine.)
  • Cleared agency criminal record check.

Rate of Pay: Base wage range is $ $22.00/hour dependant on certifications/experience. A $6/hour wage enhancement will be offered on top of the base wage listed to a successful applicant with the required certifications. (ECE/IT/SN)

Position Terms: Temporary Maternity Leave, Full time. Program operates Mondays – Fridays, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
