Assisted Living Worker

It is an amazing time to join Golden Life Management as we continue to expand our seniors housing, care, and services within western Canada.

We are looking for a full-time Assisted Living Worker (ALW) to join our Columbia Garden Village team in Invermere, BC. If you are a strong team player, then we would like to hear from you

**We are looking for someone who will**:
Provide personal care services to residents such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility and hygiene related duties as established in the individualized personal service plan;
Respond to scheduled and unscheduled requests from residents for assistance;
Participate in social and recreational programs, including group activities, outings, special event and opportunities for socialization;
Perform housekeeping, laundry and dietary duties tasks;
Assist with dining room preparation and meal service and tray service to resident rooms as required;
Interact with residents, guests and staff in a courteous and respectful manner;
Complete required documentation;
Acts as a positive and constructive team player, creating exceptional customer experiences;
Follow security and infection control policies and procedures; and,
Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements include**:
Current registration and in good standing as a Health Care Assistant with the British Columbia Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry (BCCACHWR);
Certificates in First Aid and Food Safe preferred;
Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills;
Ability to work independently and as a team-player;
Physically capable of lifting up to 10kgs;
Proven computer experience;
Successful clearance of a vulnerable sector-criminal record check; and,
Proof of full COVID-19 vaccinations or approved exemption for an accommodation based on a reason related to human rights.
