King Marketing, a national sales and merchandising company since 1971, is seeking a **Contractor Demonstrator** for varying hours per week (up to 40 hrs/wk) to conduct product demonstrations across various retail locations. We represent a range of high-quality products and need enthusiastic individuals to engage customers and drive sales.

**Job Summary**

You would be providing demonstrations at various locations in the area (and other GTA locations to be determined) at Home improvement stores.

**Duties**:

- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner
- Communicate product information clearly and effectively
- Drive sales by persuasively promoting products or services
- Provide exceptional customer service during demonstrations
- Set up and maintain demonstration area for optimal presentation
- Collect feedback and answer customer inquiries
- Record daily activities and customer feedback using an online reporting system

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in public speaking to captivate audiences
- Strong communication skills to effectively market products
- Prior experience in customer service or sales is advantageous
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos

**Qualifications**:

- Product demonstration or sales experience (minimum 2-4 years preferred)
- Outgoing, self-motivated, and dynamic personality with a passion for customer interaction
- Strong communication, customer service, and public speaking skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- **MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION**:

- Ability to travel to various store locations as needed

**Work Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (up to 6 hr demo within the shown time window)
- Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (up to 6 hr demo within the shown time window)
- Flexibility is required, especially at the start and end of each demonstration period

**Compensation**:

- Competitive hourly wage ($25.00/hour)
- Opportunity for retention bonus after 4 months and after full duration of the project (estimated at 7 months currently
- could vary)
