**About the role**

The Data Administrator will play a key role in managing the organization’s data systems, ensuring accurate data entry, maintenance, and reporting across multiple platforms. This is an administrative role that requires a strong understanding of IT systems. The primary focus will be on data integrity, database management, and supporting CRIEC’s various projects and operational needs.

**Job Type**: Fulltime Contract (3-4 month term)

Reports to Project Manager, ITAP

Location: Hybrid (1-2 days in-office required)

**Responsibilities**
- Manage and maintain accurate data across CRIEC’s databases and systems
- Ensure data integrity by regularly updating and cleaning datasets, identifying discrepancies, and resolving them
- Enter, update, and verify data within various software platforms and databases
- Support data migration processes when updating or changing systems.
- Develop new reporting dashboards and generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support internal decision-making and external reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather, input, and maintain accurate data for organizational projects and initiatives.
- Assist administrative staff with data-related tasks, including data entry, generating reports, and maintaining records.
- Provide data summaries and insights to various departments, ensuring information is clear and actionable.
- Analyse data to identify trends, gaps, or areas of improvement for operational efficiency.
- Work closely with IT to ensure the smooth operation of data systems, monitor system performance troubleshoot any issues, and assist with system upgrades or implementations.
- Provide basic training and support to staff on the use of databases and data management tools as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of data processes and system updates.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies, adhering to internal and external requirements.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure data management practices meet organizational standards and compliance requirements.
- Support cross-functional teams in optimizing data workflows and ensuring data is accessible and reliable.
- A willingness to take on additional responsibilities as they arise.

**Qualifications**

Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2-5 years of experience in a data administration or data management role
- Proficiency in data management software (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, CRM systems, database management tools).
