**About Sander Steel**

Sander Steel is a rapidly growing manufacturing company, focused on producing quality products for the construction industries as well as being a full-service steel manufacturing company. Areas of manufacturing include: Welding structural steel, light gauge cold formed material and laser cut and bent products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working at the end of production lines or running machines such as: roll forming machines, brake presses, shears, and various other machines used in the steel industry.
- Using forklift or pump cart to transfer and store materials
- Welding various components if needed
- Deliver material to production team members, kit incoming material, kit outgoing material.
- Verifying quantity and quality of material being used in different production processes
- Stocking of all material in a safe and proper location
- Accurate and complete record keeping as required by management
- Weighing materials and goods, making labels, wrapping, sorting and stacking.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Assist in other duties required by lead hand or management.

**Required skills/Education**
- Minimum 3 years experience driving forklift.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience running machines (ex. Brake press, shear)
- Holds a valid G drivers license
- Experience with FCAW/MCAW welding is an asset
- CWB flat FCAW/MCAW qualification is a very strong asset
- High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
