Job Description**:Surveyor**

Upland Contracting Ltd. is a civil construction contractor located in Campbell River situated on Vancouver Island. We are involved in construction of residential and commercial developments, civil road works, mining and aggregate sales. Our growing team is in search of a surveyor.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and schedule with Superintendent/Supervisor on survey support.
- Review new projects to identify required survey layout and asbuilt requirements.
- Maintain survey gear and perform calibrations when needed.
- Maintain survey as-built records and preform quantity volume calculations.
- Coordinate survey layout through use of CAD software.
- Preform routine field surveys to facilitate ongoing projects.
- Preform survey control loops and maintain site control and benchmarks.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years experience in civil / heavy construction industry or applicable post-secondary education in the geomatics or civil engineering.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD or MicroSurvey
- Experience with Topcon survey equipment preferred.
- Valid BC driver license

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
