**VOICEOVER NARRATOR**
**EMPLOYMENT STATUS**: 1 position - Kitchener Location, 16 WEEK Summer Placement
We are in the process of launching a new software company, AONest, Inc. to deliver a web-based self-guided software system for mental health management and outcomes. AONest users will follow unique learning pathways to navigate their mental health concerns and gain essential life skills. The system will contain hundreds of learning modules (made up of videos and worksheets) and we are looking for a strong narrator to prepare voiceovers for the videos. The content focuses on teaching essential life skills and how to navigate mental health concerns.
**HOURS/WEEK**: 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Anishnabeg Outreach is a large and rapidly expanding Indigenous non-profit and charity organization. We are dedicated to the enrichment of the Indigenous community through the development of many partnerships. Through our work, we foster belonging and spirit building, and dedicate ourselves to building a healthy and vibrant Indigenous community every day.
**Mission Statement**: To help First Nations, Inuit, and Métis (FNIM) by creating a sustainable and comprehensive suite of centralized wrap around services for urban FNIM and to establish Anishnabeg Outreach as an innovative hub/heart of best practices for economic development, training and employment on reserves.

**ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS**
This position is funded by the Canada Summer Jobs fund. In order to be considered for this job, you must:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment;
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of employment; and,
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Superior verbal communication skills in the English language.
- Convincing, engaging, and professional sounding voice.
- Clear articulation, enunciation, and pronunciation.
- Wide emotional range and versatile tone: strong, soothing, exciting, etc.
- Consistency with energy, articulation, pitch control, etc.
- Technical expertise to create quality sound.
- Outstanding attention to detail and quality.
- Collaborative nature with the ability to effectively engage with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in multi-tasking within a dynamic environment.
- Previous voice lessons will be considered an asset.
**JOB DUTIES**
- Use your own recording equipment to record your voice as you read video scripts.
- Share the completed audio files with other team members.
- Discuss necessary revisions with document owners.
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines.
- Complete other duties as assigned and directed.
