**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to develop effective learning plans.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with students, parents, and educators regarding progress and areas for improvement.
- Create engaging lesson material that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
- Collaborate with other educators to align tutoring efforts with classroom instruction.

**Qualifications**
- Fully familiar with the Ontario grade 7-12 Math curriculum and AP curriculum or:

- Great understanding with competition material and have rigid strategy for the contests.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey concepts to students.
- Previous tutoring experience is highly desirable; familiarity with various teaching methods is a plus.
- Ability to create a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere that promotes learning.
- A relevant degree or certification in education or a related field is ideal.

**Hours**

Schedules will be discussed and agreed upon by both students and teachers

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 20 per week

Additional pay:

- Commission pay
