This course is a pre-placement requirement for students enrolled in local or international placements during the spring term either as part of the International Education Studies (IES) program or the Arts Global Experience (AGX). IES and AGX students are also required to take GS394 in the fall term after their placements. In addition, AGX students must take GS392 during their placements. As such, assignments in GS391 are part of a suite of scaffolded assignments across GS391, 392 and 394.

Students will be introduced to the ethical, cultural, and practical issues associated with doing AGX placement. The course links academic study to student planning for their placements.

This course runs for 1.5 hours per week/12 weeks.
