Parts Repair Technician

**JOB SUMMARY**

Since 2005, Access Cash, operating as part of Perativ, has developed a reputation as a market leader in ATM services and technology. Operating ATMs for banks (BMO, RBC, etc.), major retailers (Walmart, Rexall, Sobeys, etc.) and just about any other type of business you can imagine who would support at ATM, Perativ provides services to a large portfolio of customers across Canada.

We are currently seeking a **Parts Repair Technician**to join our team at our office in Ville Saint-Laurent, Quebec. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who like working with their hands and solving problems on a daily basis.

Reporting to the National Inventory Manager, the Parts Repair Technician is responsible to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair ATM parts and equipment to support the organization nationally. Working out of our warehouse, this individual will ensure that any defective ATM parts and equipment are repaired to provide a quick turnaround to our customers.

From time to time, this individual will complete other duties as assigned by management.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair ATM equipment and parts.
- Maintain accurate detailed records of repairs / estimates.
- Keep repaired inventory up-to-date.
- Assist co-workers, as needed, such as: programming ATM terminals, cleaning equipment for installs, and ensuring the warehouse is organized appropriately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work space.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

**EDUCATION & TRAINING**
- High School Diploma, required.
- Bilingual in English and French, both verbal and written an asset but not required.

**EXPERIENCE, TECHNICAL SKILLS, AND KEY COMPETENCIES**
- 1 to 2 years' prior experience in a technical service role.
- Astute office skills, including: computer usage, data entry, and word processing.
- Demonstrate a professional manner in communicating with colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team environment.
- Self-starter, who pays attention to detail and stays organized.
- Strong problem-solving skills, using independent judgment to resolve unusual work problems.
- Sound reading and writing ability.
- Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds and work on their feet throughout the day.
- Astute focus on customer service.

**TÂCHES PRINCIPALES**
- Dépannage (troubleshooting), diagnostic et réparation des pièces et équipement des guichets automatiques.
- Tenir des registres détaillés et précis des réparations / estimations.
- Tenir à jour l'inventaire des pièces réparées.
- Au besoin, soutenir ses collègues, tels que : programmer les terminaux des guichets automatiques, nettoyer l'équipement pour les installations et s'assurer que l'entrepôt est organisé de manière appropriée.
- Maintenir un espace de travail propre et organisé.
- Maintenir les outils et équipements en bon état de fonctionnement.

**ÉDUCATION ET FORMATION**
- Diplôme d’études secondaires requis.
- Bilinguisme parlé et écrit (anglais et français) sera considéré comme un atout.

**EXPÉRIENCE, COMPÉTENCES TECHNIQUES ET COMPÉTENCES CLÉS**
- 1 à 2 ans d'expérience préalable dans un rôle de service technique.
- Maîtrise des connaissances bureautiques, notamment : utilisation d'un ordinateur, saisie de données et traitement de texte.
- Doit démontrer une communication professionnelle avec ses collègues.
- Capacité à travailler de façon efficace individuellement et au sein d'une équipe.
- Personne autonome qui porte une attention aux détails et possède un sens de l’organisation.
- Solides compétences en résolution de problèmes, en utilisant un bon jugement afin de résoudre des problèmes inhabituels au travail.
- Aptitudes de communication verbales et écrites.
- Capacité à soulever régulièrement 50 livres et à travailler en position debout tout au long de la journée.
- Attention particulière au service à la clientèle.
