As a Deli Clerk at Red Barn Market, you will be an integral part of our deli team. Your role will involve preparing and serving a variety of deli items such as our famous sandwiches, interacting with customers, and maintaining a clean deli area. **Responsibilities**:

- **Stocking and Display**:Arrange and replenish deli case displays, ensuring items are well-presented, labelled, and rotated.
- **Food Preparation**: Prepare and package sandwiches, pizza, salads, hot food, and more.
- **Customer Interaction**: Provide friendly assistance to customers, answer questions, and offer recommendations.
- **Maintain Cleanliness**: Keep the deli area clean, organized, safe, and well-stocked.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels, rotate products, and communicate restocking needs.
- **Compliance**: Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards.

**Qualifications**:

- **Food Safe certification**:

- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to follow recipes, and presentation standards.
- **Customer Service Skills**: Approachable, courteous, energetic and willing to help customers.
- **Physical Stamina**: Able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- **Team Player**: Works well with colleagues and contributes to a positive work atmosphere.
- **Availability**: Must have weekend availability
