Manufacturing company in Brampton, Ontario seeking a full time IT ERP Specialist

Specific Responsibilities

Support ERP System Analyst with process improvement initiatives spanning multiple business units with daily interaction of business systems.
- Provide second opinions and engage in discussions regarding opportunities to improve processes throughout business unit - specifically with ERP programming and management.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to report results and determine customer value impacts.
- Provide support and develop user friendly functionality and interfaces within ERP system, to support the business and understanding of stakeholders’ needs and wants, providing the focus needed to increase revenue and profitability.
- Analyzing of data on a regular basis in locating areas of improvement before they become problems.
- Identify business units requiring additional support, coaching, or training in the ERP system
- Build reports in ERP to support operational processes
- Support company’s strategic business plan by delivering on the Operations systems objectives.
- Work with IT Dept functional teams in all aspects of ERP and system requirements etc.
- Working on Security initiatives for ensuring ERP and other systems are not exposed to any risks.
- Working with BI analyst in developing reports/systems and providing a backup to this position.
- Provide GAP analysis by using experience as well as leveraging technical skills to assess, prioritize, optimize, and determine the impacts and benefits of numerous potential ideas and implementations.

**Qualifications**

Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business or Computer Systems
- 3+ years of experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
- PLEX ERP system experience considered an asset (not mandatory)
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to synthesize data
- Organized and project-orientedProject Management skills are an asset
- SQL, Report writing and BI knowledge (Power BI an asset)
- Understanding of EDI and Barcode Labeling
- Ability to work on multiple initiatives and projects concurrently ensuring that timelines are balanced with resource constraints and resulting deadlines are met
- Previous experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement, involving broad based information systems and utilizing advanced tools and techniques to effect business change
- Good analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- Strong ability to focus on detail, accuracy, and take initiative
- Ability to use appropriate tact for communicating with customers
- Communication skills sufficient to deal with external and internal stakeholders
- Working knowledge ERP systems and Business Process and how each module interacts with the other

**Preferred Qualifications**
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience in an automotive environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
