**IT Support Specialist (6-Month Contract)**

**Purpose of the role**

The **IT Support Specialist** is responsible for overseeing and maintaining computer hardware and software systems. In this role, you will resolve technical issues accounts and company software infrastructure. You will also oversee software integration and diagnose/troubleshoot common problems. The IT Support Specialist will provide technical support to ensure the whole company’s tech needs are met.

**Reporting Relationship**

This role reports directly to the Director of Accounting and Administration

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Participate in enterprise-wide IT projects;
- Procure IT hardware and software in accordance with company procurement policies; and
- Track and maintain inventory of corporate hardware and software.

**Expertise & Experience**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in IT/Computer Science;
- 2+ years of experience in technical support of PC and Apple devices (IOS);
- Knowledge of Windows-based administrator tools and systems (MS Exchange, Active Directory, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, performance monitoring);
- Experience administering computer networks and network equipment, including both infrastructure and end-user computing support (TCP/IP, switches, routers - DSL, CABLE setup); and
- Prior experience with Yardi Voyager ERP in an administrator capacity is an asset.

**Other Mandatory Requirements**
- Must have a reliable vehicle and maintain a valid drivers license
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- On call
- Weekend availability
