Our furniture store is looking to hire for a part-time or full-time position. We are looking for a very organized person to help in our mattress and furniture store. We sell and ship Canada-wide; the place can get quite busy and the job is very high paced. The ability to multitask and learn quickly is very important.
The current opening is primarily to help out in the store with organization, deliveries and other tasks as required. There is plenty of room to grow with the company and take on new responsibilities as we grow.
Skills required:
- Customer service - Always provide outstanding customer service, constantly interacting with customers, out-bound and in-bound customer calls.
- Sales - Experience an asset. Help sell Mattresses, furniture, other products as well, etc.
- Computers - Work with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, troubleshoot printers computers, graphics for marketing purposes would be an asset.
- Digital Marketing - ocial
- Delivery - Able to drive a 1-ton cube truck. Valid class 5 driver’s license. Will need to provide an clean abstract before hire.
- Must be able to do shipping and receiving. Must be able to load and unload trucks and lift up to 50lbs (lifting 100lbs is an asset)
The company operates 6 days a week, so the applicant must be able to work on week-ends with the possibility of rotating shifts. Must have a flexible schedule.
There are multiple companies operated out of the one store so the successful applicant will have to learn about them.
Pay will be based on experience and performance.
