**POSITION TITLE**: Team Lead/Assembly Operator
**SHIFT**: Monday-Thursday - 6:30am-4:30pm (sometimes Fridays)
**MANAGER’S POSITION TITLE**: Production Manager
**ABOUT US**
We’re looking for a team lead who is excited and positive about expanding their knowledge and skills to grow within the assembly team

The Team lead is responsible for providing leadership and line management to the team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring production targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), and quality standards are met in order to meet requirements of the product.
**POSITION RESPONSIBILITES**
- Ensure proper and efficient flow of product throughout assembly line.
- Support line stations when necessary - Absenteeism, Bottlenecks, Training, etc.
- Ensure material handler consistently supplies adequate material at each station so that operators aren’t waiting on delivery of raw material.
- Assign working stations following proper rotation as per JH&SC
- Ensure line speed supports daily rate of production requirements.
- Ensure that at end of the day, line is balanced and ready for a proper start next working day.
- Motivate 5S approach at end of shift - 5-minute process.
- Provide feedback to engineering online/process improvements when applicable.
- Uphold department standards of work ethic and attitude as a role model for other employees.
- Contribute to and maintain a healthy work environment vis-à-vis health and safety requirements and working with the H&S Rep.
- Be dedicated to creating a high-quality product that consistently meets product specifications.
- Lead and contribute to the team and the whole facility in a positive way.
- Inform Production Manager and or Process Engineer as soon as a breakdown occurs.
- Other responsibilities as required or directed by Production Manager.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for an extended period.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Proficiency with hand tools.
**PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS**
- High School Diploma.
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment.
- Assembly Experience.
- Quality Inspection Experience.
- Experience Training employees
- Leadership experience.
**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
- Assembly line (indoors)
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Constant standing, up to 10 hours at a time.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Continual use of hands.
- Continual use of hand/power tools.
