Hiring Kitchen Supervisor/cook

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As the kitchen supervisor you will be in charge of overseeing the day-to-day production, and are responsible for:
- maintaining quality control
- scheduling staff
- ordering product while staying on budget
- hands on position requiring participation in food prep, service, and kitchen clean up
- ensuring the kitchen is clean and following health guidelines at all times including weekly deep clean and continuous recorded temperature control
- be prepared for spontaneous kitchen visits from the health inspector
- creating a supportive and productive work environment - aggressive language and behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated
- seeing to staff needs and referring to Chef Don or HR when needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 1-year supervisory kitchen experience required
OR
Minimum 3 years kitchen experience required
PREFERRED SKILLS
Kitchen management experience
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Hours - 9:30 - 5:30 (no evening hours required)
