**The Position**

Schedule: FT- Perm, Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm

Location: Head Office, 27 Nixon Road, Bolton

**Responsibilities**:
Recruitment Support:

- Assist in defining role requirements to develop job profiles.
- Conduct phone screens and in person interviews for entry-level positions
- Champion the onboarding process by managing new hire paperwork via Dayforce and Humi (HRIS), arranging training courses, etc.

HR Administration, Payroll, and Benefits:

- Maintenance of employee profiles in Dayforce and Humi, collaborating with payroll when required (submitting new hire and termination forms)
- Generate reports to assist in compensation reviews and benefits administration
- Offer assistance in addressing employee complaints and conflicts

Employee Relations and HR Support:

- Aid in managing conflict situations and employee relations.
- Assist the HR Manager in providing guidance on performance management and disciplinary actions.

Health & Safety and IT Support:

- Collaborate with JHSC in ensuring occupational health and safety compliance.
- Assist in updating safety portals and enrolling employees in training courses.

Other HR Initiatives:

- Assist in training others on navigating HR systems and tools.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and updating of HR strategies and policies.
- Participate in ad hoc reports and employee events as required.

**Requirements**:

- Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources.
- Minimum of 2 years' proven experience as an HR Assistant or Recruitment Coordinator
- CHRP designation strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Dayforce and Cross Safety programs are highly desirable
- Strong understanding of HR principles and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive team player with problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
