**Fitness & Wellness Equipment Specialist**
Andrew Cooper Incorporated is a fast-paced well established company with client base across western Canada is looking for a highly-motivated individual to join our team at Red Deer. The person needs to work as a Fitness Equipment Specialist and have Fitness background; this is mandatory.
We are currently looking for a Fitness Equipment Specialist, Applicant from Fitness background will be preferred
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Provided friendly service to customers by responding to their needs
- Assist with Facility Design and Layout changes
- Demonstrate how to use equipment
- Assist with required Safety Inspections
- Maintain customer database to communicate and follow up.
- Assist with required equipment maintenance tasks
- Perform Fitness orientated inspections
- Communicate with clients
- Assist and help with daily operational functions as and when required
- Maintain well organized and unkept facilities
- Identify when equipment is not properly functioning
- Assisted in the sales and orientation process.
- Document management during project and site work
- Ensuring safety process is followed during project and site work
**Skills Required**:
- Have a friendly and engaging personality.
- Comfortable working with members of the public.
- Should be able to work with an Ipad
- Should be well organized
- Should be of a smart appearance and articulate.
- Ability to solve problem
- Think out of the box
- Should be able to travel and participate in outdoor sales
- Class 5 License
- Strong ability to follow direction
- Knowledge of Biomechanics
- Exercise terminology
- Understands the importance of Company and Self Image
- Strong communications and organization skills
- Safety orientated mindset
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
**Educational Qualification**
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Health and Fitness, Recreation Administration or Kinesiology
- Personal Training, Group Fitness or Coaching Certifications
- Physiotherapy or physiotherapy Assistant Certification
**Additional Qualification**
- CSTS, OSSA, BSO, WHMIS, First Aid, Bear Awareness and Arial platform training, Drug & Alcohol testing (certifies can be obtained at the time of hiring)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

**Education**:
- Secondary School (required)
**Experience**:
- Personal Training: 1 year (required)
- Canadian Driving: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Licence (required)
- Certified Personal Trainer (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 75% (required)
