**Key Responsibilities:Operational Management**:
- Establish and implement methods to meet work schedules efficiently.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff who prepare and portion food.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Develop and maintain menu offerings in collaboration with the owner.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Track and identify food waste on a **daily, weekly, and monthly basis**.
- Prepare and submit reports as required.
**Staff Management & Training**:
- Hire, train, and mentor food service and kitchen staff.
- Ensure all employees follow job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Schedule staff according to labor percentage compliance and operational needs.
- Address and resolve any staff concerns or performance issues.
**Customer Service & Compliance**:
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Ensure food and service meet established quality control standards.
**Inventory & Budget Management**:
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Oversee inventory management and ordering processes.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates to optimize financial performance.
**Supervision**:
- Manage a team of **5-10** food service staff.
- Supervise the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
- Maintain regular cleaning schedules and enforce hygiene protocols.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in food service.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with food safety and labor regulations.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
