We are looking for people to join the Winmar team that are ready to make a difference in people's lives and be rewarded for your hard work

Every disaster is different, our day to day operations are never the same. Here are some of the tasks a Restoration (Water & Fire) Technician does at Winmar:

- Extract standing water, Categories 1, 2 & 3
- Removal of wet building materials such as flooring, drywall, cabinets, trims, insulation etc.
- Structural drying - drying building materials in place
- Moving, packing and sorting contents to facilitate emergency services
- Setup drying equipment and monitor the drying process
- Keeping our worksites clean

Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. As we are an emergency service business, we can’t predict when disasters will happen. Therefore, all our technicians are required to be on an on call afterhours rotation. Must have a valid drivers license. **We offer a flexible benefit program, RRSP matching, bonuses and on call pay.**

New to restoration?? Training is provided and paid for. Here are some of the certification courses we provide:

- Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT)
- Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration Technician (FSRT)
- Odor Control Technician (OCT)
- Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)
- Trauma & Crime Scene Technician (TCST)
- Applied Structural Drying (ASD)
- & more

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
