**Position Summary**:
The Shipper/Receiver will be responsible for coordinating the receipt, inspection, storage, and shipment of materials within the plant. This role requires operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and standard shop equipment to ensure the timely and safe movement of goods. The Shipper/Receiver will play a key role in maintaining accuracy in inventory, upholding safety standards, and supporting efficient plant operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Overhead Crane experience considered an asset
- Forklift experience considered an asset
- 1+ years of shipping/receiving experience (metal shop environment preferred)
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs as required
- Ability to operate and maintain shop equipment (grinders, band saws, OAC torches, ironworker, etc.)
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
- Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform daily inspections on shop cranes and forklifts
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to load/unload flatbeds, vans, and trucks
- Ensure timely and accurate movement of material in and out of the plant
- Maintain safe and clean shipping/receiving areas
- Support production teams by preparing and moving materials as required
- Perform inventory checks and assist with material tracking
- Work indoors and outdoors year-round in varying conditions
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures

**Hours**:
44 hours per week, as required by site
