**Reports To**: Production Manager or Official Designate.

**Summary**:Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Contents Lead is responsible for providing cleaning of hard and soft contents and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate information for the insured as well as the adjusters.

**Job Duties**:

- Interacting with employees and customers in a respectful and professional manner.
- Developing detailed content inventory lists both on site and in the shop.
- Obtaining the necessary information and direction from the supervisor before proceeding.
- Coordinate daily production requirements with supervisor.
- Train new contents cleaning employees in R&F contents procedures and cleaning techniques.
- Ensuring that before departing to a site, you have all the required equipment necessary for the job.
- Maintain a clean work area at all times, while following Health & Safety Policy requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Production Manager or Official Designate.

Administrative:

- Assist Estimators and Client Service Representatives with Contents Procedures and following Insurance Protocols.
- Data Entry - Schedule of Loss, Contents Listing of Disposed; questionable, or cleaned items.
- Visit Customer site from time to time for emergency pack outs as required.
- Assist in uploading pictures to the job files.
- Write labour sheets and ensure hours are applied to correct file, i.e., Contents or Emergency.

Cleaning Soft Contents:

- Esporta or Hand wash as required, sort, load, wash, dry, fold.
- Picture, list and enter PSA, box, pack, and store.

Cleaning Hard Contents:

- Hand Clean or Fire Clean assorted Hard Contents, picture, type lists, box, pack and store as required.

Cleaning Office:

- Friday’s - thorough office cleaning.
- Tuesdays
- General clean i.e. Garbage, recycling and floor mop if required.
- Daily - garbage & recycle (kitchen); disinfect all high touch points areas and other surfaces.

Cleaning Equipment:

- Cleaning equipment as time permits.
- Assist in preparation of rugs, furniture, and dry cleaning to be sent to sub-trades for processing.
- Keep cleaning kits stocked and ensure contents supplies are stocked.
- When needed a Contents Lead will perform various duties related to finalizing claims such as final cleans and content resets.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license and able to provide a current drivers abstract when required.
- Able to provide a recent police check.
- Strong computer skills.
- Some understanding of the insurance industry.
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
- Able to create alternative solutions to problems.
- High level of independent judgment and reasoning.
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
- Ability to exercise necessary cost control measures.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Able to work well under pressure.

**Health and Safety Responsibilities**:

- Work in compliance with the provisions of the governing Occupational Health & Safety legislation and its regulations.
- Take every precaution reasonable in the circumstance to protect workers from safety hazards on the job.
- Make recommendations for improving health & safety conditions in the workplace on an ongoing basis, and report deficiencies or hazards immediately.
- Ensure knowledge obtained during training is applied.

**Work Conditions**:

- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work at heights and in difficult/hazardous (associated with the trade) environments, i.e., mold, asbestos, fire, smoke, sewage, noise, etc. may be required.
- Travel to the site and off-site locations as required.
- Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
- Overtime as required.
- Hazards associated with the trade.
- Work both indoors and outdoors.
- Will be exposed to construction sites.
