**Job description**:
**General Duties**:
**Manufacturing Technician (~50%)**
- Performing product assembly, including but not limited to capping, labelling and filling tubes, folding and assembling boxes, and preparing and inserting kit manuals and instruction inserts.
- Maintaining a high degree of attention-to-detail, ensuring compliance with SOP and industry certifications/regulations such as ISO and GMP.
- Working as part of a team with specific instructions and tasks
- Preparing and dispensing chemical solutions and buffers
- Assisting in the maintenance of a clean and safe manufacturing environment
- Assisting with maintaining inventory
- May include some lifting (up to 40lbs)
- Other duties and responsibilities as required
**Laboratory Technician (~50%)**
- Carry out standard operating procedures (SOP) involving laboratory techniques, calculations, operation of laboratory equipment and record keeping techniques related to R&D
- Plan, organize and execute experiments under the guidance of the Senior Scientists, with sensitivity to competing timelines and prioritizing deliverables
- Record keeping including but not limited to documenting results and minutes from meetings in a shared resource environment
- Assisting in laboratory organization and ordering of supplies
- Assisting in the maintenance and calibration of equipment in the lab and maintaining associated records
- Assisting in the maintenance of a clean and safe laboratory environment
- Providing technical support to customers
- Other duties and responsibilities as required

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 1 year in a Laboratory setting
- Familarity with ISO/GMP regulations an asset
- High level of attention-to-detail
- Post-secondary education (Bachelor's degree or higher) in Life Sciences (Microbiology, Molecular Chemistry, etc) is required for this role.
