Position: Counsellor/Group Facilitator
Full time: 35 hours/wk. Available Immediately

This position will provide counselling and related services to individuals, couples, families, groups, and organizations. Duties encompass both counselling and group facilitation.

Counselling Responsibilities:

- Individual, couple, and family counselling, including children and youth.
- Management of professional calendar, client correspondence, evaluation forms and case files.
- Familiarity with community resources in order to make appropriate referrals.
- Continuing professional development, including keeping current on clinical assessment and intervention techniques.
- Attending and participating in individual and group supervision.
- Completion of necessary statistical information as required.
- May Represent CFS Saskatoon on community committees.
- Work in cooperation and collaboration with other Saskatoon Community Service Village Partners.

Group Facilitation:

- Review, revise, and develop program material for group facilitation.
- Organize and order materials needed for groups.
- Group facilitation, including: preparation (set up/take down); delivery; and the distribution and completion of appropriate forms.
- Facilitation of other community/professional presentations.

Qualifications:

- A Bachelors / Masters Degree in social work, psychology, or other related field.
- Supervised clinical experience is an asset.
- Facilitation of group work is an asset.
- Experience working with children, youth and adults.
- Knowledge must include theories and practices of individual, couple and family counselling.
- Knowledge and experience with organizational issues would be an asset, as would a background in the not-for-profit sector.

Compensation based on education and experience. Hours include some evening or weekend work.

**Salary**: $28.36-$34.00 per hour
