Garden Crew Leader

**We are looking to add experienced garden CREW LEADERS to our growing teams for a busy summer season**

**Duties include**:

- Care for gardens as directed: garden clean ups, plant care (deadheading, pest & disease control, division, support) weeding, fertilization, soil amendments, light pruning and bed edging
- Prepare & top-dress beds
- Plant shrubs, perennials, and bulbs
- Keep your tools clean and sharp
- Strong plant identification
- Coordinate and work with other crew members performing maintenance/planting according to schedule and standards
- Ensure clients are pleased with our garden care
- Produce timely, accurate progress reports and timesheets
- Communicate with clients and management
- Maintain your tools, vehicle tidiness, and vehicle supplies
- Leading a crew of up to 4 members
- Safely load and unload equipment and tools, ensuring they are properly secured upon departure from site(s)
- Crew leaders MUST have experience driving a truck with a trailer
- Horticulture education or experience would be an asset
- Previous experience as a crew leader is required

This is a full-time seasonal position with the opportunity to do snow removal in the winter months. Wage to be determined based on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- crew leader: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
