The technician ensures all equipment is maintained in accordance with preventative maintenance programs, performs repairs following company procedures, and manages asset tracking through the Asset Management System (AMS). Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate service records, participating in root cause analysis of equipment failures, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards. The position involves frequent interaction with internal teams and occasional contact with clients and vendors. **Minimum Requirements**
- Electronics Engineering Technician diploma or a technical diploma.
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to Red Deer, Alberta, with flexibility to travel (up to 25%) at short notice.
- Legally able to work in Canada.

**Preferred Job Skill Requirements**
- Strong technical skills in maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing faults in downhole cameras, multi-finger calipers, ultrasonic tools and related equipment.
- Experience with preventative maintenance, repair, and calibration of surface systems used for real-time and memory acquisition of wellbore data.
- Skilled in using hand tools, diagnostic devices, and precision gauges.
- Ability to perform quality control tests and read technical manuals and schematics.
- Comfortable using computers for reporting and communication.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Customer service-oriented with effective time management skills.
- Adaptable to new and emerging technologies.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physically fit with good manual dexterity for handling small components and working in diverse field environments.
