Manual Machinist

**CALLING OUT ALL MANUAL MACHINISTS TO A GREAT OPPORTUNITY**

We are currently looking for a few Manual Machinists, who have prior experience setting up and running Manual machines. **If you are currently located in Ontario, and have prior experience working as a Manual Machinist, we want to interview you**

**Key responsibilities of the position include**:

- Setup the machine by using proper tools and setup sheets
- Analyze work orders, drawings, and/or specifications to verify all part requirements and determine the most efficient method for production
- Operate machine with proper guarding in place, report any damaged guarding, tool holders, tools etc. Check oil levels of machine and keep it in good condition
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and measuring instruments
- Visual inspect parts for imperfections
- Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders
- Change tool length and diameter offsets, fixture and pallet offsets. Use proper feed and speed for maximum efficiency

**Qualifications and Assets**
- 3 or more years of experience as a Manual Machinist
- Able to accurately read and use precision measuring tools & equipment
- Previous experience working in a machining/manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail skills

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Manual Machining: 3 years (preferred)
