Administrative Assistant/customer Service Representative

**About Us**: At **CanAm Currency Exchange**, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional currency exchange services to our clients. We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable **Personal/Administrative Assistant** who will also serve as a backup **Customer Service Representative**. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is highly organized, and enjoys delivering outstanding customer service.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Personal/Administrative Assistant Duties_:
- Manage and organize schedules, appointments, and meetings for executives.
- Handle filing, record-keeping, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and other administrative materials as needed.
- Assist with other personal assistant tasks as required by management.
- Customer Service Representative Duties_:
- Answer incoming calls and provide information about currency exchange services.
- Assist customers in person and over the phone with inquiries and transactions.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and securely, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Perform other customer service duties during peak times or as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in administrative support and/or customer service roles.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
- Professional demeanor with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Adaptability to switch between administrative and customer service tasks seamlessly.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in the currency exchange or financial services industry is an asset.
- Familiarity with office equipment and filing systems.
- Basic knowledge of financial transactions or currency handling.
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

- Administrative: 3 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
