SJCCC looking for a **casual Security Guard**to fill a vacant position.

**Salary**: $23.97 - 25.71/hr

**Qualifications**:

- Current Ontario Security Guard license or other related experience
- High school diploma with one or two years vocational training
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related field
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Able to communicate at or above intermediate level, written and verbal
- Bilingual an asset
- Vulnerable Sector Check with clear record
- Able to demonstrate good judgement
- Lift up to 50 pounds

**Description**:

- Secure premises and personnel, patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points, monitors building functions, removes imminent safety concerns, initiates work orders
- Reacts and assists for sounding alarms, safety codes, and calling authorities
- Reporting irregularities and hazards and informing visitors of policies and procedures
- Directs traffic, monitors parking lots and equipment
- Completes daily reports
- Other related duties as assigned

As a Security Guard, you will be essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our organization.
