Central Construction Group is a family owned earthwork construction located in Wetaskiwin, AB with offices in Edmonton, Fox Creek and Grande Prairie. We specialize in oilfield construction and civil earthwork projects, aggregate and material supply, and equipment sales/rentals. Established in 1973 Central has developed into a stable and dependable construction company delivering challenging projects to various clients over the years.
We are hiring for a long term project in the Hinton area.
**Job Summary**
- Proof of Central's Health Safety and Environmental management plan and systems
- Operation of graders, motor scrapers, dozers, excavators, rock trucks and packers if required
- Working outside of town for multiple days at a time if necessary
- Daily reporting of your field time to office staff
- Daily servicing and maintenance of equipment
**Job Type/ Category**
- Earthwork construction of roads, pad sites, leases, solar farms, water reservoirs and other industrial facilities.
- Work is located near Brooks, AB. Local employees are preferred. LOA will provided if required.
- Supply of fire retardant coveralls, gloves and safety glasses

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years experience operating heavy equipment
- Experience on larger earthworks sites is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work longer hours and night shifts if required. We will coordinate a shift schedule for work/life balance
- Ability to keep up with a fast paced environment that is forever changing
- Knowledge of construction equipment, common techniques, materials and standards related to earthwork construction in Alberta
- Valid Class 5 drivers license and a clean drivers abstract
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Pay: $25.00-$39.00 per hour
Additional pay:
